A Message from Our Principal
Hello! After 30 years with the Kosciusko School District, I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve Kosciusko Junior High School as the principal. I am a graduate of Mississippi State and the University of Mississippi. My husband and I have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a precious granddaughter.
As the instructional leader my top priority is to provide a safe environment where all students are given the opportunity to develop socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. High expectation for student achievement, rigorous academic programs, extracurricular activities, and positive character values are what I believe is needed to develop well-rounded students. Both parent and community communication are important as we work together to meet the needs of our students.
At Kosciusko Junior High School my goal is to inspire our students to be their best, do their best, and to act their best.
Jackie McElwain, Principal
